Transportation Project gets $112 M boost

A new round of federal funding will help convert an old Yonkers railroad track into a multi-use trail and expand park-and-ride and public transit services in Dutchess County, according to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s office.

The state Department of Transportation on Thursday announced a new round of federal funding Wednesday under a state-administered program to boost projects that enhance pedestrian or bicycle access or improve air quality. Read more here.
